Position Overview:

StreetWise Partners seeks a Corporate Program Facilitator to lead engaging, professional development events for job seekers from under-represented communities and corporate volunteers. The facilitator will manage both virtual and in-person (NYC-based) mentoring sessions, including pre-event preparation, event execution, and post-event reporting.

This short-term, contract-based role reports to the Senior Director of Corporate Engagement and requires a commitment of approximately 4 hours per event, with 1-4 events per month. The role offers a rate of $250 per event and the opportunity to earn up to $1,000 per month. Evening hours are required, with occasional afternoon availability as a plus.

Your Role Will Include:

Event Facilitation

  • Facilitate mentoring events for groups of 10-40 participants, including corporate volunteers and job seekers from under-represented communities.
  • Events may be held virtually or in person (NYC-based, primarily in downtown or midtown Manhattan) typically lasting 2-3 hours.
  • Deliver the StreetWise Partners program curriculum by leading activities focused on:
    • Resume reviews
    • Mock interviews
    • Building networking skills
    • Combatting imposter syndrome
  • Act as the primary StreetWise representative at events, managing setup, addressing last-minute changes, and ensuring participants have a positive experience.
  • Provide feedback on curriculum updates and event structures to improve future programming.

Pre- and Post-Event Management

  • Participate in a 30-minute pre-event meeting with StreetWise staff and a separate 30-minute pre-event meeting with corporate partner representatives.
  • Submit a detailed post-event report summarizing attendance and key outcomes.

        Qualifications You Bring:

        • 5+ years professional experience, including 2+ years of facilitation experience.
        • Availability for evening hours, with occasional afternoon flexibility.
        • Strong public speaking, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
        • A demonstrated passion for empowering individuals from under-represented communities to achieve their employment goals.
        • Proficiency in using virtual meeting platforms like Zoom.
        • A creative problem solver with a commitment to continuous improvement and service delivery excellence.
